SEATTLE - Washington added another weekly award on Tuesday as first year Jake Goetting was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week. It's Washington's second Freshman of the Week award and the team's sixth weekly award overall.

Goetting was instrumental in Washington's four point weekend in Michigan. The first year forward scored the lone goal in Washington's win over the Wolverines on Monday, securing the shutout victory.

Goetting recorded three shots in his 47 minutes of action, including two on target. It was the Berkeley native's second goal of the season and his first match winner.

Washington returns to action on Friday night against No. 11 Maryland.
