February 26, 2026 | Men's Soccer
SEATTLE - Washington head coach Jamie Clark announced the signing of seven new Huskies on Wednesday. The class consists of five players from the state of Washington and two from California.
"We are excited for this new class recruits to get to campus and become Huskies," said head coach Jamie Clark. "These players embody the qualities to be successful young men and student-athletes at the University of Washington. They are clearly talented on the field, but most importantly they are hard workers who strive to be great at all they do. This drive will see them reach their potential while wearing Purple and Gold and should ensure that we remain one of the top programs in the nation."
Joining Washington as freshmen in the fall of 2026 are Shaun Brun (West Seattle, Wash.), Nate Chandler (Pleasant Hill, Calif.), Jordy Dierks (Lake Forest Park, Wash.), Anthony Garcia (Wenatchee, Wash.), Jake Goetting (Berkely, Calif.), Harper Mikolasy (Woodinville, Wash.), and Noah Newman (Seattle, Wash.).
"I love that many of the best local players have chosen to represent their home state," added Clark. "This program's backbone has always been the local guy who bleeds Purple and Gold. These young men had the option to play anywhere in the country, but growing up in Washington they understood what it means to go to school and represent this athletic department and they wanted that honor."
