Koelle Finishes Runner-Up At The Genesis Collegiate Showcase

MONTGOMERY, Texas – Four golfers competed the Genesis Collegiate Showcase on Thursday at Bluejack National.
Finn Koelle led the team with a runner-up finish, firing a 5-under (67). Koelle was even par thru 11 holes but went birdie-eagle-birdie to move up the leaderboard. He added two more birdies in the final three holes. It is the lowest round Koelle has had this season, beating his previous best of 68 which was done twice.
Grady Millar went 3-under (69) for a tie for fourth. On the back nine, Millar had three birdies in a six-hole stretch to get closer to the top of the leaderboard.
Jacob Goode had a 1-under par round that was highlighted by and eagle on the par-5 13th hole.
Jack Murphy posted a 1-over (73) to place in a tie for 13th
Washington will be back in action at the Western Intercollegiate April 13 through 15 to close out the regular season schedule. The tournament will air on Golf Channel and scoring is available through Clippd.
