
Washington’s Loudd Named MAC Hermann Trophy Defender To Watch

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Washington outside back Maya Loudd has been selected as a MAC Hermann Trophy Defender to Watch, announced Monday by the United Soccer Coaches.
Loudd, a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree in 2025, is one of 41 players tabbed by the coaches' organization, identifying the Tualatin, Oregon, native as one of the nation's elite defenders.
Entering her fourth season in Purple and Gold, Loudd appeared in 24 matches in 2025, making 23 starts. The 5-10 outside back helped the Huskies set a program record with 12 clean sheets en route to the Big Ten double, earning all-region laurels along the way.
The full Watch List for the MAC Hermann Trophy, college soccer's highest honor, will be released on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
