TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
While a sophomore at TCC, Choate worked out of the bullpen in the closer role pitching 11 innings, striking out 12 and recording one save … second-team All-WCL in 2013… played summer ball with the Corvallis Knights helping them win the 2013 West Coast League championship ... led the Knights with a 0.50 ERA in 15 games, going 1-1 and recording 5 saves.
