2017: Had quite a memorable senior season despite competing in just four meets, as he battled through an elbow injury to claim the Pac-12 Championship, becoming the first Husky to win a Pac-12 throws title in eleven years … had competed just twice going into Pac-12s, but unleashed a new career-best bomb of 244-feet even to take the victory in Eugene, the new mark putting him fourth in school history … in his second meet of the season, threw 222-10 to win the UW-WSU Dual … did not open his year until April 14 at the Beach Invitational where he threw 204-3 … arm issues flared up again at NCAA West Prelims and he was unable to make a fourth NCAA Outdoor meet as he threw 208-0 in his final appearance as a Husky.
2016: Competed at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials and also made his third NCAA Outdoor Championships in a great season back from injury … made the finals of the Olympic Trials, throwing 232-5 in the qualifying round, and then placed 12th in the final with a throw of 226-2 … at the NCAA Outdoor meet in Eugene, finished 15th overall with a toss of 230-4 to earn Second Team All-America honors … reached the NCAA Outdoor finals for the third time by placing 10th at West Prelims with a toss of 224-10 ... fourth-place in the javelin at the Pac-12 Championships, with a best of 228-1 ... won his third straight meet with a toss of 228-7 despite heavy winds and rain at the UW-WSU Dual ... took the win at Hayward Field at the Pepsi Team Invitational with a best toss of 232-feet, 8-inches ... opened his season with a pair of huge PRs in the same series of throws at the Pac-12 vs. Big Ten Invitational in Tempe, going 235-3 on his fourth attempt and then 241-0 on his fifth attempt ... those throws broke his PR of 227-11 that had stood since his freshman year, and were his first marks since a season-ending knee injury two meets into the 2015 season ... the 241-0 mark moved him to No. 4 on the Husky top-10 list ... earned multiple academic honors, including CoSIDA Academic All-District, Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team, and USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2015: Had his season cut short by an injury after competing in the first two meets of the outdoor season … threw the javelin 214-feet, 2-inches at the Pepsi Team Invitational to take fourth in his last meet on April 11 … also threw 208-2 at the Baldy Castillo Invite.
2014: Qualified for his second straight NCAA Championships in the javelin, but struggled at the national meet, finishing 20th overall with a best of 205-1, his shortest mark of the season ... earned All-America honorable mention for the second year in a row with the NCAA finish ... made the national finals with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA West Prelims in Fayetteville, jumping from 13th to eighth on his sixth and final attempt with a throw of 219-3 ... placed fourth at the Pac-12 Championships, throwing 221-10 ... the runner-up to teammate Quinn Hale at the UW-WSU Dual, tossing a best of 225-9 ... opened the season with a throw of 225-10 at the Trojan Invitational, finishing second behind Hale ... named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team.
2013: Earned All-America honorable mention in his first year on campus, as he was one of three Husky javelin throwers to advance to the NCAA final site at Oregon … lined up a huge throw at the NCAA West Prelims, going 227-11, becoming the only thrower out of the first flight of to finish in the top-12 out of the field of 48 athletes … his 227-11 toss was 11th overall at West Prelims to advance to Eugene, where he finished 22nd overall with a mark of 202-5 … aside from the big throw at Prelims, his best toss was his season-opener, a throw of 208-1 at the Trojan Invitational … threw 202-4 at the Pac-12 Championships to finish 11th … was the fourth of a Husky top-four javelin sweep at the UW-WSU Dual, throwing 206-4 … seventh at the Pepsi Team Invite with a mark of 205-8.
High School and Personal: Born in Lubbock, Texas ... parents are Roberta and Rod Fuller ... has one older sister, Kila ... one of the state's top javelin throwers, placing third at the Washington 4A state championships as a senior with a toss of 191-feet ... broke the 200-foot barrier for the first time at the Greater Spokane League meet, tossing 203-10 to win, also a school record ... as a junior, took seventh at the state meet, throwing the javelin 184-8, a season's best ... has also high jumped, clearing a best of 6-2 ... also lettered three years in football and two years in basketball ... helped Ferris to a state championship in 2010 in football and GSL title in 2011 ... graduated with a 3.75 GPA.
