COACH GALLIMORE ON MCKINSTRY
"Megan fills the defensive midfielder position so well. She is such a force in front of our defenders and behind our midfielders. Megan is coming off one of the most brutal surgeries a soccer player can have. I told her before she had it that `if anyone could come back from it that she could.' She's just one of the toughest players I've ever coached. We're not asking her to be a 90-minute, every-game player. We're asking her to come in and have an impact whenever it is she steps on the field, whether it's starting or playing the second 45 minutes. She has so much experience and leadership and has been such a mentally tough player for us that we need her to do everything she's physically capable of doing. We understand that this surgery has been very difficult to come back from, but anything she can bring to us is going to be welcome."
