SEATTLE --- Washington's women's tennis team returns home for its first match inside the Nordstrom Tennis Center since the start of February, hosting Illinois on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
The Huskies, who moved up to No. 20 in the latest ITA rankings, are coming off a split of a pair of matches in Kansas as they improve to 8-3 on the season. The Illini (3-6) are starting a two-match trip through the Northwest tonight at Oregon before playing in Seattle on Sunday.
The match will be a special one as the Washington players will be wearing lime green ribbons to support Gonzaga tennis player Katie Day, who is battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. More about Katie can be found in this KREM story on her.
