SEATTLE βΒ Washington baseball picked up its third win on the trot on Wednesday, defeating Seattle U 3-0 in non-conference action at Husky Ballpark.

Isaac Yeager received the win out of the bullpen, picking up four strikeouts across 2.2 innings of relief. Gianluca Shinn closed things out to earn the save

After turning a pair of double plays to escape danger in the first two defensive innings, the Huskies jumped in front in the home half of the second.

Colton Bower got the Dawgs on the board, clubbing a sky-high home run into the Seattle U bullpen to put UW up 1-0 after two.

Blake Wilson led off the fifth with a double to left and Jeter Ybarra made it pay, sending a sharp single into right to bring home the freshman.

The next inning, AJ Guerrero led off and turned around the first pitch he saw, blasting a 401-foot bomb high off the batter's eye, pushing the Husky lead to 3-0.

The Huskies return to the road to resume Pac-12 action, heading to Irvine, California, the temporary home for the USC Trojans. UW and USC will square off in a three-game series beginning Friday.
