ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced its 2026 postseason women's soccer awards on Wednesday, with Husky trio Alex Buck, Maya Loudd and Anna Menti earning All-Big Ten recognition.
Â
It is the second consecutive season all three have earned all-conference distinction. Additionally, sixth year defender Taylor Thomas was named to the Big Ten Sportsmanship Team.
Â
Buck repeats on the All-Big Ten First Team, entering postseason play as Washington's leading scorer with five goals in 2026. Four of the Husky striker's goals were scored in Big Ten play upon returning from US Youth National Team duty in which Buck tied for the team lead with three goals at the U20 World Cup in Poland.
Â
Loudd joins Buck as a First Team All-Big Ten defender after landing on the second team a season ago. The fourth year outside back has been off the pitch for a total of 56 minutes all season long, helping Washington lock up 10 clean sheets. Providing overlapping runs down the wing all season long, Loudd also added to the Husky offense with a goal and two assists.
Â
The other half of the nearly impenetrable left side of UW's back line, Menti garnered a Second Team All-Big Ten nod after earning a third team spot in 2025. The Seattle native has played the full 90 15 times at center back for the Huskies this season, playing a key roll in UW racking up the second most shutouts in the Big Ten this season, while adding a pair of goals offensively.
Â
Washington kicks off the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday, facing Michigan State at 2:00 p.m. at Energizer Park in St. Louis. The match will be available for streaming through B1G+.
