CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – The No. 23 Husky softball team dropped the final two games of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Sunday, falling to No. 4 Oklahoma and LMU.

The Huskies conclude the tournament with a 3-3 record, with wins over Saint Mary's, Auburn and BYU and losses to No. 22 South Carolina, No. 4 Oklahoma and LMU.

Game 1 – No. 23 Washington vs. No. 4 Oklahoma
The Sooners started strong Sunday morning, recording six of their 15 runs in the opening inning.

Leadoff hitter Jadyn Glab hit a home run on the very first pitch of the game and Alexis DeBoer followed suit right after, notching a homer on the second pitch of her at-bat.

Those were the only two runs that scored for Washington as the Huskies had just four hits on the game.

Oklahoma scored 15 runs on 14 hits, registering one more in the second, four in the third and two each in the final two innings.

Game 2 – No. 23 Washington vs. LMU
Similar to game one, the Dawgs came out swinging, scoring three in the opening frame.

It all came at the hands of Ally Hetzel, who delivered a three RBI homer to score DeBoer and Glab.

LMU scored on a Husky error in the top of the fourth and added two more in the sixth to lead by two runs.

Glab produced an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to pull UW within a run but it wasn't enough.

The Huskies return to California next weekend for matchups with San Diego State, Cal Poly, and CSUN in San Diego.
