SEATTLE – The No. 20 softball team (34-11, 15-2 Big Ten) dropped its second straight conference matchup to Oregon on Saturday afternoon, falling 4-5 to the Ducks at Jane Sanders Stadium.

Four Huskies recorded multiple hits on Saturday, led by Jadyn Glab who went 3-for-4 in the game.

Kaycie Burdick went 2-for-4, starting the game off with a leadoff home run, her second of her career.

Oregon registered two home runs in the bottom of the third to take a 3-1 lead by the end of the opening frame.

Glab recorded her ninth home run of the year in the top of the third, followed by Alexis DeBoer's 16^th home run of the season that tied the game at 3-3.

Another home run from the Ducks, the sixth homer between the two teams, came in the bottom of the fifth to give Oregon a two-run advantage.

Gabi Toney pinch hit for Sophi Mazzola, followed by Jade Bubke who notched an RBI double, her second hit of the game, in the top of the sixth to pull the Huskies within one.

In the top of the seventh, Glab singled to put the tying run on base. Jing Gardner came in to pinch run for Glab. Ava Carroll followed suit with a single of her own, but Gardner attempted to head for third but was called out at third for the final out.

Washington and Oregon will play the final game of the series on Sunday, April 19 at Jane Sanders Stadium. The action will be available on the Big Ten Network.
