SEATTLE – The No. 22 softball team (34-15, 15-6 Big Ten) fell 1-9 to No. 7 UCLA on Sunday at Husky Softball Stadium, as the Bruins completed the road sweep in run rule fashion.

Sunday's game was the finale at home this season and honored UW's lone senior Sophia Ramuno, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch to her father ahead of the Senior Day matchup.

UCLA jumped out to a 4-0 lead by the fourth inning before Ava Carroll registered an RBI double to bring in Jadyn Glab for the Huskies' first and only run of the game.

The Bruins went on to score five more in the fifth inning, an RBI double, an RBI single and then a three-run home run to seal the run rule victory.

Washington will hit the road for its final Big Ten regular season series of the year, facing Ohio State May 1-3.
