Was Second Team All-League in 2019 and First Team All-League in 2017 … was team’s offensive player of the year in 2017 … played for the Brewers Area Code team … was Perfect Game top 100 and First Team All-American … played summer ball for the PUF Caps.

Parents are Jason and Denise Matheny … has a brother, Reese … also wrestled and played football … plans on majoring in economics and would like to one day be a business owner … is a big fan of the Transformers movie franchise … favorite TV shows include Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Ballers … favorite teams are the Angels and Red Sox.

I’m addicted to the pure competition held on and off the field, the constant fight to earn a spot on the field and success in the box.

Never sleep in, always wake up early.
Favorite Player?
Mike Trout because of his physical stature similarities to me and compassion for the game.
Interesting facts about Caiden
Loves nutrition and the sport of body lifting … favorite place to camp is the desert so I can drive off road cars, dirt bikes, and quads.
Why Washington?
It is an elite Pac-12 school where I can earn a prestigious degree.
