Parents are Keith and Heidi Gerling … Keith is a driving instructor and Heidi is a project manager for the city of Gig Harbor … interested in majoring in cinema media … earned his pilot’s license while in high school and would like to one day pursue that as a career … enjoys photography, traveling and hiking … favorite movie is Money Ball … favorite TV shows include The Office and Impractical Jokers … favorite musicians are Odesza and Dillon Francis … favorite team is the Seattle Mariners.

Max Scherzer. I love his intensity on the mound and his competitiveness he brings every day he pitches and in anything he does.
Pregame Routine:
Loud music in the car before I get to field, a bowl of Cherrios. I like to feel like I am a small rush because it gets my adrenaline going.
Why Washington?
It’s always been a dream of mine to play for my hometown team and to become a Dawg. Staying close to home is huge.
