Β
GETTING TO KNOW TYSON GUERRERO
WHY TYSON LOVES BASEBALL:Β I love baseball because it has taught me how to be a team player and helped me grow up into the person I am today.
Β
WHY WASHINGTON:Β I chose Washington because it is an amazing school and the facilities for baseball are extremely nice. Itβs just a great place where I can keep my dream going to become a professional baseball player.
Β Β
GREATEST BASEBALL MEMORY:Β Β When I threw a no-hitter in the state tournament in high school.
Β
Coach Meggs on Guerrero:Β Tyson has emerged as one of the best left-handed pitchers in the Northwest.Β Β He has a plus-plus fastball with great feel for the breaking ball.Β Β And with the ability to throw three pitches for strikes, we expect Tyson to compete for Friday night innings.Β Β Tyson is also a proven hitter with extra-base power who can play the outfield.Β Β He is a legitimate Pac-12 two-way guy who when he arrives on Montlake has a chance to help us win a Pac-12 Championship.
