2024: In his one and only season on the team, placed fourth in the triple jump at the Pac-12 Championships with a 50-0 jump, helping the team win the title … qualified for NCAA Prelims but did not compete … runner-up at the Fresno State Invite triple jump going 50-0 ½ … quickly went to No. 3 in UW history indoors in the triple jump with a PR leap of 50-10 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invite on Feb. 24 ... also had another 50-foot TJ of 50-1 ¾ to win the UW Invitational … third at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational going 49-9 ¼ … earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honor.
2023 (At Oklahoma): Competed four times during the season in the triple jump … had a season-best mark of 50-0 ¾ at the Sooner Invitational … went 49-6 ¼ at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout on Apr. 29 which was his last meet of the year … competed just once indoors, going 47-3 ¾ at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 13.
2022 (At Oklahoma): Qualified and competed at NCAA West Preliminaries in the triple jump … finished 26th overall at West Prelims, leaping 50-2 ¾ … went 50-2 at the Big 12 Championships, finishing 10th overall … third at the John Jacobs Invitational with a best of 50-2 ¾ … took second at the TCU Invitational with a best of 49-7 ¾ … indoors, was ninth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, going 48-4 … indoor season-best of 50-1 ¼ at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 14 … won the Kansas State Winter Invite at 48-4 ½.
2021 (At Oklahoma): Competed at the Big 12 Championships in the triple jump, finishing 12th overall with a mark of 48-4 … fourth at the John Jacobs Invite with a best of 47-9 ¼ … indoors, was 10th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, going 48-8 ¼ … leaped 48-11 at the Texas Tech Shootout for seventh … season-best triple jump of 49-4 ½ at the Arkansas Invitational.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle … parents are Kennedy and Doris Akinlosotu … the youngest of five siblings, including Jack, Funmi, Wole, and Oyinlola, who competed in track & field at Loyola Chicago … won the Simplot Games triple jump as a senior in 2020, going 49-0 ½ … competed at the UW Indoor Preview in the Dempsey, going 48-0 ½ to take fifth in the triple jump … senior outdoor season canceled due to pandemic … was the Federal Way High School Boy’s Athlete of the Year in 2020 … as a junior in 2019, was third at the 4A Washington state meet, going 45-3 ¼ in the triple jump … season-best leap of 46-5 to take second at the NPSL Championships … was 12th in the triple jump at the 2019 New Balance Indoor Nationals … the 2019 Simplot Games runner-up at 45-10 ¾.
