2024: Strong indoor season but missed the outdoor season β¦ indoors, had a season-best pole vault make of 13-6 ΒΌ at the Husky Classic, taking second overall β¦ also had clearances of 13-5 ΒΌ at the UW Invitational and 13-4 ΒΌ at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite β¦ opened season at the Spokane Invite, clearing 13-3 Β½ for third.
2023: Broke the Husky Freshman Record in the pole vault in her very first meet, and advanced to the NCAA West Prelims β¦ tied for 30th at her first West Prelims, clearing 13-0 ΒΌ β¦ made 13-3 Β½ at first Pac-12 Championships, placing 10th overall β¦ made 13-3 ΒΎ at the Fresno State Invite for sixth-place β¦ indoors, in her first collegiate meet, cleared 13-9 ΒΌ at the Spokane Invitational to win and set the Freshman Record and go to No. 8 in school history β¦ also made 13-5 ΒΌ at the UW Invitational and 13-5 at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Indianapolis, Indiana β¦ parents are Elizabeth Thomas and Scott Ferguson β¦ mother ran cross country at Kentucky β¦ one of six siblings β¦ a National Honor Society member and National AP Scholar β¦ one of the top prep vaulters in her class, winning the 2022 New Balance Indoor Nationals title with a PR clearance of 13-9 ΒΌ β¦ was seventh at 2022 Nike Outdoor Nationals, making 13-2 ΒΌ β¦ the Kentucky 3A state champion as a senior, making 13-6 β¦ also won state as a junior, going 13-0 β¦ as just a freshman in 2019, won the New Balance Nationals Emerging Elite section, making 13-0 ΒΌ.
