2024: Strong indoor season but missed the outdoor season … indoors, had a season-best pole vault make of 13-6 ¼ at the Husky Classic, taking second overall … also had clearances of 13-5 ¼ at the UW Invitational and 13-4 ¼ at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite … opened season at the Spokane Invite, clearing 13-3 ½ for third.
2023: Broke the Husky Freshman Record in the pole vault in her very first meet, and advanced to the NCAA West Prelims … tied for 30th at her first West Prelims, clearing 13-0 ¼ … made 13-3 ½ at first Pac-12 Championships, placing 10th overall … made 13-3 ¾ at the Fresno State Invite for sixth-place … indoors, in her first collegiate meet, cleared 13-9 ¼ at the Spokane Invitational to win and set the Freshman Record and go to No. 8 in school history … also made 13-5 ¼ at the UW Invitational and 13-5 at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Indianapolis, Indiana … parents are Elizabeth Thomas and Scott Ferguson … mother ran cross country at Kentucky … one of six siblings … a National Honor Society member and National AP Scholar … one of the top prep vaulters in her class, winning the 2022 New Balance Indoor Nationals title with a PR clearance of 13-9 ¼ … was seventh at 2022 Nike Outdoor Nationals, making 13-2 ¼ … the Kentucky 3A state champion as a senior, making 13-6 … also won state as a junior, going 13-0 … as just a freshman in 2019, won the New Balance Nationals Emerging Elite section, making 13-0 ¼.
