2010-11 (Senior): Completed one of the greatest careers in Washington history with her second All-America season, earning the honor this time in both singles and doubles ... she and doubles partner Denise Dy were two of just 11 players to earn ITA All-America honors in both singles and doubles ... also earned first career Capital One Academic All-America honor, part of the At-Large Third Team ... won the Pac-10 Scholar Athlete of the Year honor and was named Pac-10 All-Academic First Team for the third straight year ... named to the All-Pac-10 Second Team ... became the third Husky ever to reach 100 career singles wins, winding up with 101 wins, second-most all-time at UW ... posted a 29-8 singles record and an incredible 22-1 dual record, going 5-0 at No. 1 singles and 17-1 at No. 2 singles ... the 29 wins was a career-best and ranked sixth on the single season list ... earned a No. 9-16 seed in the NCAA Singles Championships, and advanced to the round of 16 for the second straight year, defeating 73rd-ranked Monica Arguello of Furman and 56th-ranked Shannon Matthews of Notre Dame in a third set tiebreak before falling to eventual NCAA Champion Jana Juricova of California ... qualified for her first NCAA Doubles Championship, and advanced to the quarterfinals along with Dy, upsetting fifth-ranked Bartenstein and Eichkorn of Miami in the round of 16 ... ranked a career-high No. 9 in the fall preseason, but after a rough fall nagged by injury, her ranking dropped to No. 55 to start the dual season; she then built it back up to No. 14, and ended the year at No. 17 nationally ... defeated fifteen ranked singles players based on the time of the match, and had six wins over Top-25 singles players ... finished her dual career with a 69-17 record, a remarkable .802 winning percentage ... was 6-0 at home to complete a 34-3 career record in home matches ... earned her fifth career Pac-10 Player of the Week honor on Jan. 24, after going 4-0 in singles and doubles as UW beat BYU and Utah on the road ... won both of her No. 2 singles matches in UW's two NCAA team matches, beating Ana Belzunce of Maryland and 108th-ranked Jelena Durisic of North Carolina in straight sets ... rank off a 13-match win streak and an eight-match win streak around her only dual loss, a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 loss to UCLA's Noelle Hickey on the road ... swept her singles matches on the Bay Area road trip, beating 18th-ranked Mari Andersson at No. 1 singles at Cal, 6-2, 6-1, and holding off 22nd-ranked Mallory Burdette, 6-7, 6-4, (10-8) at No. 2 singles at Stanford ... was 2-0 in singles as UW advanced through ITA National Team Indoor qualifying with 4-3 wins over Texas and Florida State, and was 2-0 at the National Team Indoor final site ... also beat 13th-ranked Josipa Bek of Clemson, 16th-ranked Jacqueline Cako of Arizona State, 18th-ranked Noemie Scharle of Florida State, and 18th-ranked Danielle Lao of USC ... in the fall, made the round of 16 at the ITA All-America Championships ... qualified for the ITA National Indoor Championships, but went 0-2 ... was 20-8 overall in doubles, going 15-4 with Dy and 5-4 with Samantha Smith ... ranked as high as sixth nationally with Dy as they started the year 13-0 with six ranked victories ... won the Michigan Invitational doubles title with Dy, beating teams from Michigan, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee ... her 73 career doubles wins rank fifth all-time.
2009-10 (Junior): Another historic season, capped off by her first career ITA All-America honor, a second All-Pac-10 First Team honor, and a second Pac-10 All-Academic First Team honor ... was one of just five women in the NCAA to make at least the round of 16 at all three of the major tourneys: the ITA All-American Championships, the ITA National Indoor Championships, and the NCAA Championships ... ranked a career-high No. 11 during the season and finished the year ranked 15th, the fourth-best finish ever by a Husky ... posted a 23-11 record in singles with 12 wins coming over ranked players at the time of the match ... was 11-6 in dual play, 8-6 at No. 1 and 3-0 at No. 2 ... started the season with a run to the semifinals of the All-American Championships, the best ever showing by a Husky at the tournament, defeating No. 23 Lenka Broosova of Baylor, No. 7 Kelcy McKenna of Arizona State, and No. 18 Marina Cossou of California en route ... defeated another eventual All-American, Kristy Frilling of Notre Dame, to make the quarterfinals of the National Indoor Championships ... made her third NCAA Singles Championships, winning a match for the first time, but it would be a thriller, as she came back from 6-1, 5-1 down to beat 28th-ranked Marta Lesniak of SMU, 1-6, 7-5, 6-0 ... defeated 31st-ranked Alison Ramos of USC in the second round, 6-2, 7-6 to make the round of 16, the first Husky to advance that far since Dea Sumantri in 2003 ... all three of her major tourney runs were ended by Irina Falconi of Georgia Tech, the year-end No. 1 and National Player of the Year ... four of her six dual losses came to Top-10 players, and five of the six were in three sets ... came back to beat 38th-ranked Ana Marija Zubori of South Carolina, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles in UW's 4-3 win over the 16th-ranked Gamecocks ... shook off a 6-0 first set loss to come back and beat 7th-ranked Laura Vallverdu of Miami, 0-6, 7-5, 7-6 (4) at the Michigan Invitational ... swept the No. 1 players from the Arizona schools at home, beating UA's Natasha Marks and ASU's Nadia Abdala ... rallied to beat 58th-ranked Liudmila Vasilieva of Washington State, 2-6, 6-0, 6-3 in Pullman ... was 13-14 in doubles, 9-9 in dual play ... played the majority of the season with Samantha Smith, going 8-7 in dual matches ... also teamed with Lina Xu late in the season, starting off with an 8-5 upset of 34th-ranked Stacey Tan and Mallory Burdette of Stanford at second doubles ... reached the Pac-10 Championships semifinals with Xu, defeating ASU's Abdala/Brycki and Arizona's Marks/Rietsch to make the final four ... also earned an Arthur Ashe Scholar Athlete Award.
2008-09 (Sophomore): One of the best seasons in school history, became the third Husky ever voted to the All-Pac-10 First Team, and was also a Pac-10 All-Academic First Team member, something only one other player could claim ... went a team-best 28-7 overall and 21-4 in dual play, all coming at No. 1 singles ... defeated 10 ranked players during the year, including five women who finished ranked in the Top-30 (No. 8 Jana Juricova of Cal, No. 9 Hilary Barte of Stanford, No. 18 Yasmin Schnack of UCLA, No. 22 Nina Munch-Soegaard of TCU, No. 26 Maria Sanchez USC) ... qualified for second-straight NCAA Singles Championships but was upset in the first round by 76th-ranked Mallory Voelker of Denver, 6-4, 6-3 ... pulled off the biggest win of the year for the Huskies in the second round of the NCAA team tourney, as she came back from 2-5 down in the third set against USC's Maria Sanchez to win 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2) and clinch the 4-3 win that propelled the Huskies to the Round of 16 ... finished ranked 25th, the third Husky to end the year in the Top-25, and was ranked a career-high 18th on April 21 ... was 6-2 in Pac-10 dual matches, sweeping weekend series against Stanford and Cal, USC and UCLA, and Oregon and Washington State ... won nine-straight and 14 of 15 matches from the end of the fall through February, including winning the singles title at the SDSU Fall Classic ... also had an 11-match winning streak from March 13 through May 10 ... was the only player to defeat Pac-10 Player of the Year Hilary Barte of Stanford in dual play, winning a third-set super-tiebreak ... named Pac-10 Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 19-25 when she went 4-0 in singles and doubles in road wins at BYU and Utah ... went 22-11 overall in doubles, teaming with Denise Dy to start the year then ending with Aleksandra Malovic ... went 14-6 with Dy, and was ranked as high as 28th, before ending season ranked 81st and not playing together after March 7 ... reached West Regional quarterfinals with Dy and won SDSU Fall Classic doubles title ... was 8-5 with Malovic, all at No. 2 doubles ... had three wins over ranked teams with Malovic, including consecutive wins over UCLA's 30th-ranked team of Wetmore and Seguso, and USC's 56th-ranked team of Kinstler and Fansler.
2007-08 (Freshman): Turned in one of the best freshman seasons in Husky history and became the first Husky to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship since 2005 ... named to the All-Pac-10 second team ... was the unquestioned No. 1 singles player from the start of the fall, thanks to her extensive international experience ... started every match at No. 1 singles, going 15-6 in the top spot and 21-10 overall in singles ... finished the season ranked 37th in the ITA Rankings after debuting at No. 41 in the rankings on Mar. 4 ... was ranked a season-best 30th on two occasions becoming the first Husky freshman to earn a Top-30 ranking since Claire Carter in 2001 ... based on the final rankings, she defeated nine ranked opponents, four of which were NCAA Singles Tournament entrants ... in the NCAA First Round, lost to Duke's 24th-ranked Reka Zsilinszka, 6-2, 7-5 ... in Washington's NCAA First Round dual against Texas A&M, she defeated Elze Potgieter, 6-4, 6-1, in the top spot for UW's only point ... won 15 of her first 17 matches, including a 12-match win streak from Nov. 9 through Feb. 17 ... named Pac-10 Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 11-17 during which she led UW to wins over Purdue and Illinois ... won first nine dual matches until a third-set super-tiebreak loss to Stanford's Hilary Barte, who finished the year ranked 4th ... routed 2006 NCAA Singles Champion, Cal's Susie Babos, 6-0, 6-1 in dual play ... followed that win up with a 4-6, 6-2, (10-6) win over USC's Lindsey Nelson, the defending Pac-10 Champion and NCAA Singles Finalist in 2006 and 2007 ... nearly pulled off an amazing L.A. sweep, losing 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to UCLA's seventh-ranked Riza Zalameda following the USC match ... the highlight of her season, and the team as a whole, came in UW's match against 12th-ranked Arizona State, when she saved match point to prevail 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (5) against 28th-ranked Nadia Abdala, clinching a 4-3 upset win that propelled UW into the NCAA Championships ... additional wins over ranked opponents included No. 28 Katrina Zheltova of Sacramento State, No. 57 Ekaterina Burduli of Washington State, No. 64 Anastasia Surkova of BYU, No. 74 Celine Rolly of Oregon, and No. 94 Sophie Kobuch of Hawaii ... was one game away from victory (leading 6-4, 5-4) against Arizona's 34th-ranked Danielle Steinberg, when UW clinched the win and the match was halted ... started at No. 2 doubles in every match with freshman Kelsey Anonsen, going 12-9 in dual play and 13-10 overall ... reached the Pac-10 Quarterfinals with Anonsen, defeating 53rd-ranked Lumpkin and Wetmore of UCLA, 8-4, in the first round before losing to 6th-ranked Fink and Niculescu of USC ... ended the fall by winning both the Flight I singles and doubles titles at the Husky Invite ... was 5-1 in doubles in the fall with Aleksandra Malovic.
