Coach Gallimore on Young
"Jessie isn't a big player, but she plays big. She is feisty and quick-footed. She is fun to watch in the attack as she is a crafty one-versus-one artist. She has great stamina and can get up and down the field well in the wide channels, as well as serve dangerous balls into the box. In recruiting her, I can tell she is going to be a player who brings a ton of personality to the team and is going to add to the positive team chemistry we already have on a fairly young squad."

GETTING TO KNOW JESSIE YOUNG
Jessie Young In Her Own Words I have lived in Canada my whole life, and moving was a huge change for me. I have a sister who has been in University for 3 years, and is probably the smartest person I know, I love her a lot, we have matching necklaces, corny I know. My dad is a Training Officer for the Vancouver Fire Department and my mom is a Child Worker. I miss sitting in the kitchen doing homework and smelling what my mom was making for dinner! I have one dog named Lexi, who seems to not age, and has more energy than me any given day. I have two brothers Bobby and Timmy (although we aren't technically related). Timmy told me, out of superstition, that when you go over train tracks your supposed to lift your feet and say peanut butter three times, I've done it ever since. I am obsessed with the TV show Rob and Big and will honestly laugh at it even if I am by myself. I love playing guitar, and have taught for the last two years. I also love snowboarding and wakeboarding which is why I love summer and winter so much! |
