Huskies In Vegas For Southern Highlands Collegiate

SEATTLE – Washington men's golf faces a tough test this week at the Southern Highlands Collegiate hosted by UNLV.
Tee times at Southern Highlands Golf Club begin at 9 a.m. PT on Sunday. Teams will play 18 holes each day on the par 72 course registering 7,510 yards.
All 15 teams competing this week rank in the Top 50 in the Scoreboard Powered by Clippd rankings. Joining the Huskies in the field are No. 2 Auburn, No. 3 Florida, Georgia, No. 12 Illinois, No. 19 New Mexico, No. 14 Oklahoma, No. 8 Pepperdine, No. 25 San Diego State, South Carolina, No. 4 Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, UNLV and No. 1 Virginia.
Washington will be paired with Georgia and South Carolina off hole No. 10 beginning at 10:20 a.m. PT.
The Huskies have played in two tournaments thus far this spring with a fourth-place finish at the Southwestern Invitational and tied for ninth at the Amer Ari Invitational. Through six events, Jacob Goode leads the team with a 71.5 scoring average with five rounds in the 60s and eight under par. In his short time on Montlake, mid-year freshman Emil Herstad holds a 70.2 scoring average with three of his six rounds under par.
