GETTING TO KNOW COLTON CASSINELLI
Pre-game routine/superstitions:
Sit in locker room for 15 minutes with lights off and visualizing at bats and game situations.
Greatest baseball memory?
Hitting a grand slam in Oklahoma for Team Arizona and hitting my first career high school home run.
Why do you love baseball?
Because it’s the way I express myself. Sometimes I can’t express myself the way I do on the baseball field.
Why Washington?
It was the best fit for me academically and the facilities were outstanding and I really connected with the coaching staff. The city of Seattle is perfect for me and different than Arizona.
