2025 Cross Country: Raced three times during his freshman fall season … at his first Big Ten Championships finished 57th overall and seventh on the Husky squad in a time of 24:31 … seventh on the team at NCAA Regionals, placing 111th overall in 31:37 for 10k … ran at the Wisconsin Invite but did not finish.
High School and Personal: Born in Central Point, Oregon … father is David Tostenson and mother is Monique Sandoval O’Loughlin … has one older brother, Jantz, and an older sister, Gracie … Gracie ran track and cross country at Boise State, and Jantz did the same at Georgetown … one of the fastest milers in U.S. high school history with a 3:57.47 mile PR that ranked him No. 5 all-time in the American prep ranks and No. 2 indoors … ran his mile PR at the Terrier DMR Challenge in Boston on Feb. 21, 2025 … also went to No. 3 in U.S. high school history in the 1,500-meters with a PR of 3:36.85 at the 2025 Portland Track Festival on June 15 … ran the No. 4 time in prep history in the 3,000-meters, going 7:57.42 indoors at the 2025 Husky Classic in the Dempsey … won the 2025 New Balance Indoor Nationals title at 2-miles, running 8:46.09, and anchored the victorious 4xMile Relay … also anchored the Crater 4xMile Relay to the title at the 2025 New Balance Outdoor Nationals, in 16:54.80 … as a junior was eighth in the mile at the 2024 New Balance Outdoor Nationals and anchored the DMR to the national title, and at the 2024 Nike Indoor Nationals placed eighth in the mile and again anchored the DMR to the win … won five individual Oregon 5A state track titles and was part of four-straight cross country state team titles … as just a freshman, won his first state title in the 1,500m and was second in the 3,000m … as a junior, won the 1,500m and 3,000m state titles then as a senior won the 800m and a third 1,500m state title … a two-time Gatorade Oregon state Athlete of the Year for track in 2024 and 2025 … the Oregonian boys track Athlete of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.
