2024: Competed indoors and out in his freshman season in both the long and triple jumps … jumped at the final Pac-12 Championships, placing ninth in the triple jump … triple jump PR of 48-0 ¾ at the Fresno State Invitational … best long jump of the year was 23-8 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational … went 47-11 in the triple jump at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, was seventh in the triple jump at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet, going 47-1 ¾ … long jumped an even 23-feet in his collegiate debut at the UW Preview for fourth.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle … mother is Cherise Hutchinson and father is Richard Hutchinson, both University of Washington alumni … one older sister, Alexia … member of National Honor Society … the Washington State 4A Champion in both the long jump and the triple jump as a senior in 2023, going 23-9 in the long jump and 47-7 ¼ in the triple jump … set a long jump PR of 24-3 at the 2023 Shoreline Invitational … took sixth at the 2023 Nike Indoor Nationals with a long jump of 23-5 ½ … helped 4x100m relay team take second at state in 2022 and third in 2023 … as a junior in 2022, placed fourth at state in both horizontal jump finals … triple jumped 45-9 ½ at the 2022 USATF Junior Olympic Nationals, finishing fourth.
