2024: Improved her personal-best in the weight throw indoors, going to fifth in school history with a throw of 59-0 ¾ at the UW Invitational … second-best mark of the year was 56-11 ¼ at the Husky Classic … outdoors, competed twice, throwing a season-best 147-1 in the hammer at the Stanford Invite, and getting a discus season-best of 146-7 at the Fresno State Invite … named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2023: Moved up the Husky top-10 list indoors in the weight throw … had a weight throw PR of 54-8 ¾ at the Husky Classic to finish third and go to seventh all-time … also went 54-3 ¾ at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet … outdoors, competed just once at the Aztec Invitational, getting a hammer throw PR of 154-9.
2022: Redshirted her first season, competing unattached indoors and out … outdoors, won the discus at the WWU Vernnachia Invite, throwing 153-5, and went 146-7 in the hammer … indoors, had a weight throw season-best of 52-7 ¼ at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Minneapolis, Minn. … mother is Xin Ma and father is Aaron Colson … has one younger brother, Dion … was the Ohio Division III State Champion in the discus as a senior, going 144-2 at the state meet … set a discus PR of 149-9 in winning 2021 D-III Regionals … also took third in the shot put at state as a senior and set a PR of 42-9 … a National Honors Society honorable mention … field commander of the marching band … scholastic art awards gold key recipient.
