2019: Raced once outdoors, at the Doris Heritage Festival β¦ indoors, competed twice, with a 200-meter best of 22.64 at the UW Indoor Preview, and a 60m best of 7.10 at the UW Invitational.
2018: Made big strides during the year, setting new PRs across the board β¦ outdoors, ran a new 200-meter best of 21.67 at the Ken Shannon Invite and had a wind-aided 100m best of 10.85 seconds β¦ was ninth in the 200m at the Pepsi Team Invite in 21.70 and 13th in the 100m at 10.87 β¦ ran on the 4x100m relay that clocked 40.86 seconds at the Mt. SAC Relays β¦ indoors, ran a big 200-meter best of 21.91 seconds to take 10th at the MPSF Championships, and was 17th in the 60-meters in another PR of 7.00 β¦ 10th in the 200m at the Husky Classic in 22.31 seconds and ninth in the 60m at 7.05.
2017: Did not compete during the season.
2016: Focused mostly on the 100-meters in his first season β¦ top time on the season was 11.15 seconds at the UW-WSU Dual, placing him seventh overall β¦ 10th in the Pepsi Team Invite 100-meters in 11.21 β¦ ran on the 4x400m relay at the Pac-12 vs Big Ten Invite that finished in 3:17.14 for sixth β¦ competed twice indoors on 4x400m relays.
High School and Personal: Born in Walla Walla, Washington β¦ parents are Christina and Andran Young β¦ has two younger brothers, Kobe and Donavin β¦ showed great range in the sprints, finishing as the Washington 4A state runner-up at 100-meters and 200-meters in 2015 as well as taking fifth in the 400-meters and helping the 4x100m relay make the finals β¦ set a 100-meters PR of 10.69 seconds to win the Regional title in 2015 and also posted a 200-meters best of 22.00 at the same meet β¦ won a total of six Mid-Columbia Conference titles on the track, including three-straight at 400-meters, with a PR of 48.51 seconds as a senior β¦ also made the state finals in all three sprint events in 2014 as a junior β¦ lettered three years in basketball and was team captain as a junior and senior and team MVP as a senior β¦ a four-year Scholar Athlete in track and basketball β¦ graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.
