2020: Returned for a final season of indoor eligibility, where she finished up at the MPSF Championships with a season-best time in the 400-meters, going 55.48 to finish 13th overall, and ran on the 4x400m relay which ran 3:47.40 to finish 10th … won the Don Kirby Invite 400m unseeded section in an altitude converted 55.92 … ran 56.34 to take seventh at the UW Invitational … a season-best 200m of 25.01 at the Don Kirby … a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection.
2019: Earned First Team All-America honors as part of the distance medley relay that finished seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championships ... ran the 400m leg on the DMR at nationals that finished in 11:10.94 ... helped the DMR qualify for NCAAs by running the 400m leg at the UW Invitational as the team ran 11:00.35, third in school history … outdoors, the top quarter-miler on the squad, lowering her 400-meters PR to 54.69 seconds, the No. 8 time in school history, set at the National Relays in Arkansas … placed 11th in the 400-meters in the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 55.31 … scored at Pac-12s on both relays, taking seventh in the 4x100m relay in 46.15 and sixth in the 4x400m relay in 3:40.16 … fifth at the Beach Invitational 400m in 54.96 … part of three wins in the UW-WSU Dual, winning the 400m, the 4x100m, and the 4x400m … indoors, had the third-fastest 400m time in school history with a 54.97 at the MPSF Championships to score in sixth-place.
2018: Key member of the sprints crew that posted new Top-10 marks in both relays outdoors and set the indoor 4x4 school record … outdoors, helped the 4x400m relay take fourth at the Pac-12 Championships in 3:38.03, the third-fastest time in school history, and ran on the 4x100m that took sixth in 46.71 … also at Pac-12s, ran a season-best 55.76 time in the 400-meters for 18th … the 4x400m relay advanced to NCAA West Prelims and finished 14th overall in the same time as Pac-12s: 3:38.03 … fourth in the 200-meters at the Ken Shannon Invite in a wind-aided 24.52 seconds … at the UW-WSU Dual, was fourth in the 400m and helped the 4x400m relay win in 3:40.07 … the third leg on the 4x100m relay that ran a season-best 45.66 at the Trojan Invitational, the seventh-fastest time in school history … indoors, the 4x4 relay crushed the school record at the Don Kirby Invite, taking third in a time of 3:37.74 (converted for altitude from 3:37.30), a five second school record … also helped the relay take third at the MPSF Championships in 3:38.57, the No. 2 time in school history … 30th in the 200m at MPSFs in 25.01.
2017: Made big strides in her second season including helping the 4x400m relay make history by becoming the first Husky 4x4 to make NCAA Outdoors … was the second leg on the 4x400m relay that broke the school record for the second time at the NCAA West Prelims, running 3:35.65 to gain the 12th and final spot advancing to Eugene … earned All-America honorable mention honors as the relay finished 22nd overall at NCAAs in Eugene ... part of the 4x4 that first broke the school record at the Mt. SAC Relays, running 3:36.50 to break a mark that had lasted since 1998 … helped the 4x4 finish fourth at the Pac-12 Championships and was 12th in the open 400-meters in 55.29 seconds … ran a new 400m PR of 55.23 to win the Ken Shannon Invitational … part of the top 4x100m relay of the season which ran 45.34 seconds, good for No. 4 in school history, at the Mt. SAC Relays … also ran on two more 4x1 relays that ranked top-10 in school history, with times of 45.50 and 45.78 … indoors, helped the 4x4 finish fourth at the MPSF Championships in 3:43.22, the No. 3 time in school history, and was 15th in the 400m in 56.09 … ran a 200m indoor best of 24.79 at the Husky Classic for sixth.
2016: Raced at four meets in her first outdoor season, running the 200m, 400m, and relays … had a best quarter mile time of 56.36 seconds at the Ken Shannon Invite, finishing sixth … best 200-meter time of 25.18 seconds at the Pepsi Team Invite, placing 12th … at the UW-WSU Dual, took sixth in the 200m in 25.45, fifth in the 400m at 57.68, and ran on runner-up 4x100m relay in 47.40 … indoors, redshirted the season, competing three times unattached … best 400m of 58.75 at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in New York City … mother is Melanie Apostol … has one younger sister, Lauren … mother and aunt, Joy Aquino, both attended Washington … one of the most consistent sprinters in the state of Washington with great range, making the 3A state finals in the 100-meters, 200-meters, and 400-meters from her sophomore through her senior years … won state titles in the 4x100-meters as a sophomore and a junior ... was state runner-up four times, taking second in the 400-meters three times and once in the 200-meters … started running track her freshman year ... won seven individual Metro League titles, and eight individual District II titles … ran a 400-meters best of 55.51 seconds to take second at state in 2014 … took third in the 400-meters at the 2014 Arcadia Invite in 55.85 seconds … ran at the 2014 New Balance Indoor Nationals, finishing 10th in the 400m and 22nd in the 200m … fifth in the USATF Junior Olympics Nationals in 2013 going 55.52 in the 400-meters … intended major is Informatics.
